Seven Springs Community Park

It was the dream of former Seven Springs Mayor Jewel Kilpatrick that the village have a place for adults and children of the community to enjoy recreation.  In 2001, after several years of effort, The North Carolina Division of Parks and Recreation awarded the Town of Seven Springs a $47,500 matching grant to build a children's playground.  After a lengthy period of fundraising and much work on the part of many individuals, the Seven Springs Community Park became a reality.  Officially dedicated on September 25, 2004, the property includes grills, picnic tables, a concrete walkway for exercise, swings, slides, and even a scaled down replica of the Ram Neuse.
